When Robert Williams started in the music business he never envisioned working in the management side of it.
TMarquise Entertainment is doing something different in the industry, by having an all girl roster. You have crews that have had mostly males and 1 female like Ruff Ryders and Flipmode; however we are taking it to another level. Even their DJ will be a woman on the turntables!
The current roster represents a broad spectrum of musical genres. It includes Hip-Hop, Rap, R&B Soul, Pop, Dance and Latin. The TME team consists of Barbara Sheree, Mystik, Sasha Stevenson and Eliana Torres. All artists are working on individual projects and the TME compilation. The TME brand is being built around these ladies.
Barbara Sheree was recently featured as a member of Patti Labelle's choir on NBC's Clash of the Choirs. Her style is a reflection of R&B Soul. She has either opened for or performed on the same stage as Patti Labelle, Keith Sweat, Yolanda Adams, Lisa Lisa, Doug E. Fresh, Musiq and Kem.
Mystik; white female Philly-bred MC has worked with superstar producers (Dame Grease, Hellz Yeah (DJ Premier) to performing on one of the biggest college tours (OutWork Me Tour – 30 colleges, 3 states), the pilot for VH-1’s White Rapper Show and performing in Hollywood for the reality TV show “Hip-Hop Grandma”. Mystik beat out 10,000 other rappers to win Dame Grease’s Free Beat contest on Myspace. This past spring Dame Grease produced a single for her called Locked Down.
Sasha Stevenson is the current Miss Atlantic City 2008. She’s a mixture of Pop R&B and Dance. Sasha's unwavering drive and determination have made her a captivating dancer, artistic choreographer and talented recording artist personifying the true meaning of sexy while maintaining more than just a touch of class. She is currently working with Multi-Platinum producer Chris Henderson, Grammy winning producer Bryan Michael Cox and Ryan Leslie affiliate DJ F’neese.
Eliana Torres a bilingual vocalist, with an impressive vocal range Elaina sings in both English and Spanish. She performed numerous times at the Latino Festival at the Historic Gardner’s Basin. The 2003 concert starring International Recording Artist La India (Goddaughter to the late Celia Cruz) and Grupo Aventura at the 6,000-seat Sandcastle Stadium in Atlantic City, New Jersey, Tropicana Showroom, The Borgata Hotel Casino and at Kennedy Plaza located on the world-famous Atlantic City Boardwalk.

A Couple Musical Notes
Shout out to everyone who came to enjoy the Alternative Soul Tour (part one) on July 31. All of the talent was top shelf. Locals Terri Showers, Michelle Moseley, Niko and the School House Stomp Steppers and Drum Corps represented the best of Atlantic City’s home town talent.
I invite everyone to come back this Sunday (Aug. 17, 7pm) to Kennedy Plaza on the A.C. Boardwalk. The showcase will feature local singer and Miss Atlantic City winner Sasha Stevenson, the band Longfellow as well as performers from Philadelphia and North Jersey.
