Robert L. Williams Jr. has roots based on entertainment. Born to musician parents in Bronx, NY, Robert learned to love and appreciate music early in life. His father was a trumpet player who played in various jazz clubs throughout New York, and his mother was a church piano player and teacher. 

 From an early age, Robert loved music. Robert grew up listening to James Brown, early Motown, and buying the first rap records released. At the age of 8, he started taking trumpet lessons and continued through the age of 18, ultimately learning how to read and write music. Robert played in the Pleasantville High School marching, concert, and jazz bands with fellow band members who later went on to play professionally. 

Robert wanted to become a Studio Recording engineer but was steered into the computer field with the computer industry's advent in the mid-80s. 

In 1998, he became partners in Atlantic City's only professional recording studio, "Platinum Sound Recording Studio," In 1999, he moved into professional artist management. 

In 1999, Robert started TMarquise Entertainment, LLC, a one-stop-shop for Artist Management, Marketing, and Promotions. 

Robert became Director of Marketing and Publicity for Critical Records in 2004. Wendy Day, who started the Rap Coalition, was the consultant for the label. Ms. Day has negotiated some stellar distribution deals in urban music. She has played a part in Eminem's deal at Aftermath/Interscope, Master P's No Limit deal with Priority Records, Psycho Drama's deal at Suave House, DJ DMD's deal with Elektra, Fiend's deal with Ruff Ryders, UGK's renegotiation with Jive Records. 

He is currently a member of the Recording Academy (NARAS), which holds the Grammy Awards. http://www.grammy.com and BEMA, Black Entertainment & Music Association, www.bemanow.org. 

Robert has worked in the retail side of the business. He worked at G-Force Record and Tapes in Atlantic City. He was selling everything from CDs, tape, and vinyl to clothing. Robert was also the graphic artist for the "streets." He designed/printed mixtape, cd covers, and business cards. 

Robert has also been involved in working in the community. He is the former Executive Director of SOSAFRIK International, a 501(c)3 non-profit youth services and advocacy organization committed to developing programs that improve education, health awareness, and children's rights underprivileged in the US and Africa. 

The co-founder and vice-president of Entrepreneurial Think Tank, a community group dedicated to the advancement of minority-owned businesses in Atlantic County and the former president of the ETTIC Investment Club.
